Children form the future of a country. But does this also apply to a country such as Zambia?
The Foundation" Give the children of Mpongwe a future" aims to offer the children of Mpongwe a better future through a number of education and healthcare projects. The Foundation is a personal initiative of Mrs. Ton Korsten-korenromp, tutor at the University of Vocational Education, Hogeschool Zuyd. She returned to Africa in the summer of 2001, after having worked there in the 1970’s, and stayed for five weeks at the Mpongwe Mission Hospital.
In order to achieve sustainable success, the Foundation has formed an alliance with co-workers of the Mpongwe Mission Hospital, while it receives financial and technical support from the Centre for Cultural Exchange (COV), a Dutch ngo.
Our organisation needs your help.
We hope you will assist us to give these children a chance for a better future. It is possible to make a donation, but also to become the sponsor of a specific project, either individually or through an organisation. We are open for any other proposals to help, the organisation of a charity ball, church collection etc. All the funds will go directly to Mpongwe and of course we will keep you informed on the progress the project.
Sometimes help is at hand. . . . . . . . .
. . . . .You just have to take the first step!
